SFU-S20A is a FBI FIPS201 and Mobile ID (FAP20) certified fingerprint scanner module that provides a number of industry-leading features under its sleek design. Featuring a powerful 1.0GHz CPU, SFU-S20A provides high-speed extraction and matching of fingerprints within the
scanner as well as hybrid Live Finger Detection. SFU-S20A also supports true plug-n-play by featuring HID (human interface device) protocol. SFU-S20A is a versatile identification solution for both public and civil ID applications.
SFU-S20A supports true plug-n-play by featuring HID (human interface device) protocol. HID protocol enables users to scan fingers immediately after physical connection of USB plug without any set-up or installation steps.
SFU-S20A is the world’s thinnest PIV certified FAP20 optical scanner. The Scanner features Large Platen that spans 0.71” x 1.0” (18mm x 25.4mm) wide, which is well above the FAP20 Standard that spans 0.6” x 0.8”
SFU-S20A has been designed to provide the highest level of security available by featuring on-device encryption of fingerprint templates as well as supporting security protocols including WiFi WPA2 and HTTPS.
SFU-S20A provides advanced Live Finger Detection technology by applying a machine learning method that analyzes and categorizes image patterns according to optical characteristics.
