Hybrid Live Finger Detection Technology

Suprema’s LFD technology is based on the comparison of dynamic and static image characteristics of fake fingers to live fingers. Through an advanced analysis algorithm that detects the abnormalities in dynamic changing patterns of fingerprint images, and several static features showing liveliness or unnaturalness of fingers, fake fingers are clearly distinguished from live fingers. This new LFD technology provides an efficient and effective solution to protect the fingerprint system from attack via fake fingerprints.
